Only the fact of product or service being sold determines the company`s success

Any industry representatives have to face sales. Irrespective of our business specificity, we all sell something. It can be both product and service.

Employees and managers of the customer service department are your company`s "face". They are the first people, whom your customers meet coming to you. It is exactly these people`s appearance and professionalism that the first impression about your company will depend on. Just these very people have to build and follow up with customer relationships that are foundation for successful deals.

In most cases, your profit is directly dependant on the customer service staff. Like it or not, but in spite of your product quality, price or extent of advertisement, the person that meets the customer face to face will be crucial to customer`s buying decision. The service staff attitude and professionalism is exactly what makes customers come back.

Unfortunately, we all witness that in 80% of cases it is the buyer who buys the product from the salesperson, and not the salesperson who sells. However, there is a great difference between these two situations, and in terms of your profit money, it is measured in thousands.

The statistics show that 65% of organization`s operation is ensured by loyal customers.
  • Satisfied customer will tell his friends about you, dissatisfied customer will tell everybody about his negative experience.
Why does a company lose customers?

Research results indicate that:

68% of customers stop working with a definite company because of lack of involvement of the salespeople or their indifference
14% discontinued cooperation because of not considered complaints
9% went away, because they were able to buy it cheaper somewhere else.
5% went away to buy from a friend or a relative.
3% moved to live somewhere else
1% deceased

This research demonstrates that the majority of customers 82 % is lost (or never gained…) as a result of wrong customer service policy and unprofessional customer service department staff action.
